I have a question, do you intend to do a tutorial on porting models?

I have a question, do you intend to do a tutorial on porting models? to answer both questions: I don't plan on making a tutorial on porting models, at least so soon, from both lack of experience and because model imports are really hard to do at the stage we're currently at with tools, so You won't see that DMC4 Rebellion in the HDC port anytime soon. However, that last step of my tutorial applies to installation of basically every HDC mod out there, as long as it doesn't use Special K, but those have a good tutorial attached to them. but to help with those broken textures, try importing them instead to the DMC1 costume dante and see if that helps, I believe the DMC4 skin mod uses those meshes but on the Sparda costume .pac EDIT: You actually have two options: one, You look through the discord because someone did release a conversion of the mod there, and two: You can open the body texture in OptPix, select the bucket tool here, then select one of these three black tones that have no white bars under them like the other colors on the pallet, and use the bucket tool in this area that's black here and export the image as a png, from there, You're gonna want to edit some borders here and there with Paint.net, but most importantly: You remove a specific chunk of the chest texture, that's because that part is where the inner collar of the original DMC1 costume is located as a texture, just use the original as a guide to where You need to delete, the mod has wider textures than the original, but it follows the same organization.

well, i made a port but it got bugged but great tutorial I've found an even better solution: so, instead of getting just the HDC DMC1 costume Dante file, You're gonna want to get the Sparda costume Dante as well and extract both, after that, You get the .dds texture files of the DMC4 costume mod and replace the Sparda textures with those, then, You go to the DMC1 costume main folder and grab pl015_001.mod, from that, You replace the Sparda costume's counterpart with it, which should be named pl018_001.mod there, just rename the DMC1 file to that then overwrite the Sparda one. After all this, pack it up, put in the game's data files and see if it works.
