if you wanna use this to make model mods,u can refer to toraneko's "RE2 ULTIMATE MODDING TUTORIAL" from residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/10549/re2-ultimate-modding-tutorial
or u can refer to maliwei777's tutorial if u can understand Chinese,i think this is more concise if u had a basic skill in making model mod of dmc4 or dmc4se.

usage:
0. Do not forget to change the dll path in the script before u begin to use it.
1. Remember to choose "import skin" when u import .mesh
2. You can move or rotate you model before reset xform
3. When u arrive the 'edit UVW' step ,you DO NOT need to add uv2 and move uv to it, this script include a funtion which can copy your uv1 to uv2, u just need to check that your uv1 is correct.
(ps.weapon models have only one uv,and the character models have uv1 and uv2.)
4. Different from RE2,models of dmc5 just have 4 LOD groups,so u just need to make 3 copies of your model and rename them before export.

Hello, I tried to import and export without any edits but I get a 'No "execute" function for undefined'. Is there a step I need to do for exporting?

did you select import skin before importing a model. Models without a skin modifier and no rigging can't be exported

VergilfoxThere is a problem regarding the shadows or AO, for example with nero's hair. When I import it to 3DS and export the mesh without any modification, the mesh has lack of shadows.
Here is an example replacing Vergil's hair

well other than that you should use 3ds max 2014 I have no idea what's wrong

I don't think so because I made my own script version base on maliwei777 script a week ago, although it only exported with three LODs. This script didn't copy uv1 to uv2 and had the same problem..

May I know if I can import the head event mesh using the script, because regardless of how many times I tried my 3d max is always stop responding only with the head event mesh I am using 2014 version already. I tried to import the body mesh or hair and I succeeded, only the head event mesh Any suggestions? I am trying fix Trish's ugly nose in the cutscene

If you want people to be able to help, you gotta describe in detail what you are exactly doing step by step, saying you followed a tutorial won't be of much use.

you're right. i'm trying to modify vergil's coat erasing the two front parts, so i'm not intrudicing any new mesh. i'm assuming this doesn't need the zbrush part of the tutorial and the model is already fine, so no further adjustmant. so i used the script to import vergil's mesh, erased (or hid, in another attempt) the two front part. when exporting the new semplify model 3ds max fails with the message ""no "execute" function for undefined"". i also tried to import dante's mesh, than export without any change and the message become ""no "\" function for undefined""

This is no detail at all, step by step, every button press. Are those 2 front parts a separate mesh or are you going into editable mesh modifier and deleting polygons?

Actually small parts of the scenes works other parts don't work, I used RE2 script and same error, it works in the game, but in the cutscenes it doesn't work, I made a video
